Statewide Oil is proud to support one of its employees, Damian Gillard’s 19-year-old daughter, Tahlia who completed the Kokoda Track on Anzac Day.
Tahlia completed the nine-day, 160km trek with her best mate Xavier Howard. They had planned to complete the trek in high school, but it was canceled due to Covid.
Xavier had a family friend who lost his battle with cancer at an early age, so they had added purpose this time around.
The aim was to raise $5,000 for the Tate Scarce Fund to continue research into rare childhood cancer and they raised over $6,000. We want to give a big thank you to everyone who contributed to this amazing cause.
