Statewide Oil are proud supporters of Mike Pearson and the ‘Beat the Heat (WA) Inc’ team.
Beat the Heat (WA) Inc are a 100% sponsored, community-based, anti-street racing program run by off-duty police officers and like-minded community members. Along with Police involvement and other road safety organisations with young people, through the common interest of motorsport, it provides an opportunity to educate young drivers.
Mike and his team’s goals are designed at reducing death and serious trauma on WA roads because of illegal street racing, by encouraging participation in the sport of drag racing in a safe and controlled environment.
Beat the Heat (WA) Inc operates during the Western Australian drag racing season over the summer months from September through to May.
