IMPORTANT UPDATE – Corona virus / COVID-19
We here at Statewide Oil Distributors, like most people, are concerned with the current virus going around and want to protect our supply chain, our staff and our valued customers.
With the spread of corona virus (COVID-19) and the declaration by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a public health emergency, Statewide Oil Distributors are taking action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of all our staff and customers.
Whilst none of our staff have yet been directly affected by the corona virus / COVID-19 infection, from today 18th March 2020 we will be temporarily:
- Suspending non-essential visits by your sales representative, and where possible we will be talking to you via telephone or email.
- Minimising the amount of customer and supplier meetings at our office.
- In respect for hygiene and health we ask for your understanding if we don’t shake your hand.
- Have staff working from home, and rotating on rosters thus minimising staff members in the office and warehouse plus ensuring to our best ability continuity of supply to our customers.
Our customer service is paramount and our commitment to continuity of supply and dispatch of all orders will continue as per normal, but please be aware that turnaround times may be affected by the impact of these temporary arrangements.
As a management team, we have made these short term changes as it is our belief that the well-being of our staff and clients is a core value of Statewide Oil. Other changes may occur as conditions change, but our commitment to you and our staff remains.
We appreciate our clients and contractors understanding and support through this crisis and we will continue to monitor the local and global developments in the Corona virus / COVID19 outbreak. We will continue to follow the Federal Government’s advice in other aspects as the situation develops.
Our main supplier ExxonMobil has kept us informed that it is supply as usual from their base in Singapore to Statewide Oil and at this point, we have no disruptions in supply.
