Chaz Mostert and Warren Luff have finished third in the 2020 Bathurst 1000, capping off the 2020 season with a podium in the biggest race of the year.
They showed consistently good speed throughout the entire 161 laps, running inside the top-five for the majority.
With a few late safety cars at the end of the race, they were in the hunt for the win, but just couldn’t quite bridge the gap to the top 2.
The Mobil 1 Appliances Online No. 25 was a front-runner all weekend, and were rewarded at the end of 1000kms.
Unfortunately for Bryce Fullwood and Kurt Kostecki, their race was put on the back foot early with a power steering issue that put them five laps down.
With 10-laps to go, Bryce found the wall coming down the hill, causing enough damage to put the No. 2 out of the race.
It was a cruel end to a positive weekend, with good speed shown across all four days of running.
